About
As you might already know, my name is Patrice Turlet. I am the creative person and spokeperson of Freedom 2 Be ltd. You have probably seen me in one of my inspirational videos or read my articles.
I was born and raised in Paris, France, to parents of a Caribbean decent.
I started writing as soon as I learnt to put a sentence together. I learnt to tap into my creative side quite early and became interested in dancing and singing as a teenager. I quickly understood that life was not so different to arts. Life is indeed very creative but I realized that society doesn’t always allow us to create our own lives. Society does not like difference, but since creativity is unique to each individual, a creative being ought to be different. This is how I learnt to accept myself; it gave me confidence to lead the life I wanted to create.
At the age of twenty, I decided to leave France and embark on a new life in London. I quickly learnt English and found work in the performing arts industry. My work in this field has taken me to most European countries as well as major continents such as Asia, Africa and America working on different dance, drama and music projects. I have thus been fortunate enough to have met people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and countries, and have had amazing experiences from which I have learnt to really value life for the wonderful gift that it is. All my travelling has taught me to love and respect myself and others; it showed me that although different in appearance we are all part of the same entity connected to the same earth. Although most of my learning came through experience, I spent a large amount of time during this period undertaking large amounts of reading on philosophy, religion, psychology, esotericism, quantum physics, life coaching and more.
Becoming a personal development coach was not really a choice for me but much more a very natural life evolution. Deep down, I always knew that helping others by sharing my wisdom and using my natural ability to connect with others would be what I would eventually end up doing. I just didn't know when it would be.
Now in my 30's, I am dedicated to helping people open their eyes to the beauty that surrounds us and to finding their purpose in life without falling prey to its search. I want to help anyone who has the desire to connect with their true self and become the master of their own exciting and creative life.
I love life, I love people and I love to help them find a beautiful balance in their lives. Everyone has the right to be happy, I have dedicated my life to helping people to claim their right.
