Love is beautiful and strong while it lasts but can be very ephemeral
If today I love you, this very love is a commitment to you
But does simply committing to you assure that I will always love you?
Who am I to say that our love will be eternal when what tomorrow will be made of is known by no man?
I cannot tell you that I will be there forever but there is one thing that I can promise you however
As long as I am true to who I am
Whether this love last one day, one month, ten years or a lifetime
I will love you like no other man
