Some people believe that they have no luck; they never have good opportunities in their life. They feel that other people are more fortunate than them. However, there is one thing that they ignore, they are closed to opportunities. Opportunity channels are everywhere but they don't realize that they are right under their nose.
Think about it for a minute, what is the only channel that an opportunity can use to present itself to you?
I thought really hard about this one and I could only come up with one answer. Opportunities can only come through people; someone has to present the opportunity to you. Whether it comes through a friend, a colleague, someone you meet at the train station or your local supermarket; the opportunity will come through a human being.
In my life, I have had many opportunities presented to me by friends or even strangers. Unfortunately, many people do not open themselves to strangers; people would rather keep themselves to themselves.
Look around you, on the train, at the supermarket people ignore each other, they do not realize that everyone around them is a channel; a potential opportunity. Many people when approached by strangers are usually very wary, have only one wish to be left alone and cut conversations short. Nevertheless, sometimes you do not know who you turn down. In truth, when you turn down somebody you are very likely turning down an opportunity in the process
What kind of opportunity you may want to ask? Well, any type of opportunity.
To start with, the opportunity to make a great friend, the opportunity to have a contact for work or to be introduced to your future wife or husband; the sky's the limit. What is beautiful about it is that you never know who you meet. At any time, you can meet someone that can help you or knows someone that can help you.
When you meet someone new, you never know what kind of opportunities this new person can bring you.
I am not suggesting that you start talking to people because you are seeking to get something from them. However, by simply seeing everyone you meet as a potential friend, you will naturally open yourself to opportunities; it is a natural process. Now of course, you will not create great friendship with everybody but it does not matter, enjoy people's company and always remember that you too you are an opportunity channel to them.
